Publish Your First Project
Use this when your project list is empty and you want to publish a package to Sysand Index for the first time.
Before You Start¶
You need a Sysand Index account and a local project that the sysand client can
package.
For client setup and packaging commands, use the Sysand client documentation.
Prepare The Package¶
Check the package metadata before publishing. The publisher, name, and version determine how the release appears on Sysand Index.
If the project should belong to a team, create or use an organization before publishing.
Choose How To Publish¶
For a first manual publish, an API token is usually the shortest path. For CI, prefer trusted publishing.
Publish And Check The Project¶
Publish with the sysand client, then return to Sysand Index.
After publishing:
The project should appear under your projects.
The release should appear on the project page.
README, changelog, licenses, and usages should render if included.
Use Publish a release for the website-side checks after upload.
